Songwriter is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what that means for your data.
Songwriter does not collect, transmit, or have access to your recordings, lyrics, songs, or any other content you create. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and we do not use any third-party SDKs.
Everything you create (recordings, songs, lyrics, effects) is stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync (an optional, opt-in Pro feature), your data syncs to your own private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit, the same way Apple's own apps sync your data. That data is stored in your personal iCloud, not on any server we operate or can access. Turning sync on or off is entirely your choice, and Songwriter works fully offline without it.
Songwriter offers an optional Pro upgrade. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store your payment information.
Songwriter does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, as it does not collect information from the user.
If and when this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above.
